TEAM LEADERSHIP

There is an old saying that a Camel is a horse designed by a committee or team. Without effective team leadership most teams will produce a distortion (Camel) of their original intention (Horse)

Teamwork and Teamworking are widely recognized as vital skills if a group of individuals is to achieve its full potential. There is a major difference, however, between working as a group of individuals doing similar jobs and working together as a team. This workshop will identify the elements which create a successful team and outline the necessary skills required to lead a winning team.

*           Behaviour in small groups

 

*           Team Formation and Development

 

*           The difference between groups and teams

 

*           Building Support and Trust within the team

 

*           Managing team conflict

 

*           Understanding Team dynamics

COURSE DURATION:                        3 DAYS

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:          10 - 12

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED             This workshop can be delivered in the training room. It

                                                          can also be delivered as an outdoor experiential learning
